What I did today:
- Went to a nearby endodontist who just looked at my tooth and took some x-rays and was all NO WORRIES, YOU ARE FINE THAT CHIPPED TOOTH IS NOT A HUGE DEAL.
- Ate lunch with my mom and went to a used bookstore where I spent $10 on a huge P.G. Wodehouse collection. I haven’t read him yet but I’ve been wanting to ever since The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks. I began reading a few pages of it and am really happy I got it.
- Went to Rite-Aid. Got bobby pins. And Tic Tacs. And the lady in front of me in like exclaimed, “MY GOD YOU ARE THIN!!” way to loud. Wasn’t quite sure how to respond to that as it didn’t sound like an insult and it didn’t sound like a compliment. Mostly what it seemed like was shock.
- Came home and watched the premier of 90210 which, thankfully, Taylor the Lovely recorded. It was somewhere between the awful I was expecting and the great I was expecting. The jury is still out. Also: I did schoolwork while I watched.
- Took a nap while watching a couple episodes of The Colbert Report.
- Woke up and did FOUR HOURS OF SCHOOLWORK.
So was today productive?
You decide.

More productive then mine!
PG Wodehouse is excellent and Hugh Laurie (House) was in the BBC adaptations many, many years ago but they were very funny too.

Marmite – Hugh Laurie? YAY. Although I have to admit, whenever I hear him with his regular British accent it completely throws me off. He does such a good job speaking “American” on House.

It throws me off too! I’ve never watched an episdoe of House but I see commercials all the time and his American accent is so convincing. When my mom said he’s British I didn’t believe her.

Make sure you read Wodehouse’s Leave it to Psmith. Brilliant stuff.
